From top:Yohan Blake(St.Jago), Ramone Mckenzie( Calabar), Nickel Ashemeade (St. Jago)
Well we are at that time of the year again when we journey to the Penn Relays. Of course all eyes are set on St.Jago for this year as they return with there full squad which might inlcude the former wolmerian 100m hurdler. However, it seems alot of attention will be on Nikel Ashmeade who has vastly improved, he came second ahead of Dexter Lee in the 100m at Boys Champs and captures the Gold ahead of Ramon "Batman" Mckenzie of Calabar in the 200m. This will make the St. Jago team hard to beat in the 4x 100m. At boys champiosnship they cruised to record breaking sub 40 seconds in the heats, but dropped the baton in the finals. Word on the streets is that a sub 39 clocking is the aim at Penns.Barring no mishap St. Jago should take it ahead of Calabar. The 4x400 Which St.Jago were edged out of by long beach poly will be a intense affair as always but not between them and Long beach poly who are with out there anchor man from last year. This year its again St. Jago versus Calabar, closely followed by long beach poly and KC. I personally dont see st jago losing any of these relays

Re: Penn relays
Well i have just recieved information out of Philly that track star Yohan Blake didnt make the trip. It seems Calabar might have a field day. Reports are that is coach is resting him for World Junior Championships this Summer and Beijing where he might make up the 4x100 squad
