Love's Misconception

Love is patient, kind and understanding
Love is more than showing feelings affectionately or sexually
Its an intellectual statement of your mind
True love, man has not contrived
Because lust has confused the mind
Into rushing to someone that God hasn't assigned
Instead of patiently waiting for His perfect design
See then and only then can you and another, Be absolutely entwined
Hearts beating to the same rhyme
By thoughts perfectly aligned
Never being alone at any moment in time
Telling all and not feeling mistimed
Feeling relaxed to unwind
True love, is love undefined
for what God puts together, No man can unbind

Lust is love's misconception
Fed by misapprehension
Giving people a false affection
That love is lust with fortification
Based off a hormonal formation
Driven by physical features or skin complexion
Later leaving one in the state of mystification
Because they failed to realize love is patient, lust is aggression
Lust is rushed, love is evolution
Lust is a sin, love is a sanction
Lust is sight with the wrong perception
