In Denial

I've never really been in love
or believed in angels sent from above
the concept of '"together for ever"
or even; "I'll leave you never",
blurs in my mind and fades oh so fast
I enter again knowing it won't be the last
but you know me too well,
and yes the truth, you can tell
that I long for the one who can erase my fear,
though i push away anyone who comes too near
so i search deep within my conciousness for any excuse i can find,
its tempting to want stability, but that option quickly seeps out of my mind,
I'll keep sheilding my heart so my weak spots won't show,
another well kept secret, that everyone seems to know
